So part of big award ceremonies are the grand productions for the performances of the artists. It's my first time watching a Korean Music Award show but I already know (from my bestfriends and observation) that they can really put a super grandiose stage for fans.
The Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA for short) was held just last week. It was formerly the Mnet Korean Music Festival(MKMF). Don't know why they decided to change the format of their year-end production and with the boycott from SME artists, a lot of people thought this show would be a failure.
Well, okay, yeh we were missing some artists but WOW...just wow! The productions are amazing! From the collaboration of BEG and Kara to G Dragon/Taeyang's performance... superb performances! But my favorite (and I was completely blown away) was the number from the girl rappers! It was insane! To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of rap and besides that fact, I don't understand Korean(Hanggul). But what the hell, it didn't matter! These girls were fierce!!!
By order of apperance (during the live performance), Miryo of Brown Eyed Girls (BEG), Baby-J of Jewelry, Ji Yoon and Hyun-a (4-Minute) and last but definitely not the least, T (or Tasha).
I loved Miryo especially the gestures she made with her hands. And the loooong legs and the hair! Ji-yoon's jumpsuit and hair were fierce! As always, I'm super jealous of Baby-J's figure... but, well, T... it's my first time watching her and WOW, AMAZING! No wonder she could bring the other artists to stand up! Ibang klase! I love how her voice is lower than the rest of the girls. She owned that performance. She commanded that stage. She's the "senior" of the other girls, she knows her art. Plus, she's really pretty :) I love her skin color.
